Linal Art Stained glass has been creating architectural decorative art glass for 35 years in the greater Portland, OR metro area. Linda Owens specializes in creating one of a kind art pieces in stained glass or sand carved etched glass. From traditional to contemporary and everything in between, she can develop a concept to coordinate with your décor. Leaded art glass can be used in entrances such as doors, sidelights, domes and transoms. Our studio has created stained glass designs for skylights, lamps, cabinets, sculptures and shower enclosures. Linal Art also does custom beveling, repairs and restores leaded glass windows,. The studio is skilled in the area of mosaic glass art as well as fused glass. Linda along with Terry Jelliffe will design and fabricate just the right design to fit your space in your home, office, business or church.Our work over the years has been in shows such as the Street of Dreams, Tour of Elegance, Street of New Beginnings, Design Showcase, Parade of Homes and Home and Garden Shows. Linda’s work has also been featured in publications by Carolyn Kyle and Judy Miller.Instruction in the art of stained glass is offered on Tuesday and Thursdays. Morning classes are from 10 AM to 1 PM and evening glasses are from 6 PM to 9 PM.
Many of our students and employees have gone on to open their own studios. Students have come in from as far away as Bombay, India to study glass art from our studio. One student opened a studio in Thailand and has been one of the best known artists in all of Southeast Asia working on many of the Catholic Cathedrals.
